What goes better with avocado than lime and cilantro? Nothing? Correct. This avocado cilantro sauce is filled with so many different flavors and spices that just work so well together. I made this sauce originally as a dressing for a taco salad recipe (coming soon), but over time I’ve realized how many different things this tastes amazing with. I use it as a dressing, a spread on toast, sauce for main dishes, a dip for veggies...or French fries. Really it’s become a bit of an obsession. But don’t judge until you’ve tried it on everything! And this is another ridiculously easy recipe to make! If you try the sauce out, be sure to post a pic to Instagram (or any social media) and tag #feedmewithamanda.
I put it on everything. Above with turkey tenderloin and below with avocado toast!
2/3 cup Greek yogurt
2 TBSP adobo sauce (sauce from can of chipotle peppers)
3 limes (juiced)
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 cups of fresh cilantro leaves (remove from stem)
Place all ingredients into a food processor (or your blender).
Blend all ingredients until thoroughly combined. Use a rubber spatula to scrape the sides if ingredients are sticking. Pour into a bowl and keep refrigerated until use.
